PHOTOGRAPHIC TUITION by Kenn Elliott
.

Photographic Tuition is a great idea. There are simple rules that govern how a camera works and once you learn to understand them taking first class pictures just gets easier. Come to my studio in Newcastle and let me show you how.
Do you sometimes think your camera is running the show? Sometimes taking a really good picture and then, just when you have a great picture right in front of you it lets you down. Manufacturers will convince you that the camera thinks for itself which is true to a degree but light cannot be programmed, it has it's own set of laws and when you don't see for yourself what is happening with the light it can fool the meter in your camera. Understand where the light is coming from, how strong it is and if your camera can handle differences between light and shade and you're ready to look at composition. Your camera is not difficult to use after all if a box with a pin hole in it works . . .
